The 2022 Santa Barbara Chardonnay is a selected blend. 60% from the Los Alamos Vineyard planted in sandy loam, which is located in the coolest corner. As well as 20% Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, and 20% from La Rinconada in the Sta. Rita Hills. These two vineyards are situated on an extinct bend of the Santa Ynez River near Lompoc. Our block at La Rinconada is planted mostly on alluvium and ancient river deposits.
